The youth in South Africa are facing real life problems such as poverty, inequality, and unemployment which often leads to engagement in unhealthy lifestyles and/or illegal activities in the name of survival. PC4FYNDAS provides interventions to reduce the impact of mental illness, suicide rate, and lack of motivation across the youth nationwide. We offer mentorship to the young people at an early age of 10 years to 18+ years, to personally walk with them and collaborate with parents/guardians, schools, government and organizations to equip the young people in their walk of life by so doing they are better positioned to embark on an educational journey from a healthy mental and emotional state.
Why do they not understand me, Who am I, Where do I belong?
These are real questions and your child is probable asking them, yet there’s no expression. Relationships are not easy to master, they require a lot. How about engaging with your teenager, why has he/she changed from that little girl or boy you once knew? Well, your little one is not so little anymore. We help you navigate your journey with the ever so changing human being before you. He/she is going through so much more than you think, challenges with identity, physical and hormonal changes, and belonging. Let’s help you understand them without the frustration. PC4FYNDAS walks with you, teachers, community, and organizations to help you raise the best version of your child, through helping them become more self-aware, manage stress and develop social skills in all their developmental stages. it takes a community to raise a child, we extend a hand to you!
What am I good at? How do I figure it out?
The biggest battle in the human journey is fighting the intrusive thoughts that seem to come at unexpected times, how about the unmanageable emotions that you cannot help but feel? Adults deal with these just as much as children do, imagine a child who can learn to manage their thoughts and emotions from a young age and begin asking, learning about their strengths and weakness? PC4FYNDAS helps young people discover themselves intellectually and emotionally, explore their academic world, and help them choose career paths from trained experts who assist in achieving their chosen career path. How do I know that I’m a leader. Am I a team player?
Playing is the most natural thing to do for a young person, you need not teach them. The most effective way to keep the youth engaged is having them actively participating in a physical activity with their peers. PC4FYNDAS encourages this notion while achieving positive and useful skills such as team building and leadership. We offer sports activities for the adrenaline driven youth, namely – Soccer, Netball, basket ball, and tennis. We also offer Performance arts such as Drama, Dance, and Poetry for the creative youth. Lets build these skills for with our future professionals.
What is my purpose, Why am I on this planet?
We ask this question at some point in our lives, a valid question at that, Are we meant to be born, go to school, get a job, be rich and die? is that all there is to this life. Your child will some day ask this question and it will send them into rollercoaster of emotions. Help your child figure these question in a safe environment, with your knowledge, influence, and guidance, a place where self discovery is encouraged. Existential questions are part of the human journey. PC4FYNDAS guides young people in the navigation of self in relation to purpose and destiny using Christian principles.
